Plan panel junctions
Resolve doorways, corners and ceiling edges with details matched to your selected panel system.
Draw the edges before ordering panels
A wall elevation shows more than the area to cover. Mark external and internal corners, door frames, skirting, sockets and adjoining finishes. These junctions are where the panel layout and installation details need to be coordinated.
For a fluted wall at a doorway, ask how the selected profile will finish at the frame, and whether the proposed trim will cover the cut edge as intended.
Keep the profile and its accessories together
Use the dimensions of the actual panel and proposed accessories when drawing a junction. A similar colour does not establish a compatible fit. Confirm the component references and the required fixing method with the supplier and installer.
For WPC fluted panels, identify the profile, finished depth and wall edge detail. Ask for the installation guidance for the selected model rather than using a detail drawn for another wall-panel system.
Coordinate the aluminium ceiling as a system
Our representative aluminium honeycomb ceiling panels are offered in 7 mm and 9 mm thicknesses and require corresponding installation accessories. Record the chosen panel thickness alongside the compatible accessory references.
Share the ceiling layout, substrate or support arrangement, and positions of lights and access openings with the installer. Ask for the corresponding assembly detail before finalising the component list. Panel thickness alone does not define a complete ceiling assembly.
Make one coordinated detail list
Give each different junction a reference on your drawing. List the panels and accessories separately, and identify who is supplying each component. Any unresolved fitting or support requirement can then be discussed before installation starts.
- Panel model, thickness and finish at each location.
- Compatible edge, corner and joining accessories.
- Substrate, fixing and support details to confirm.
- Openings, access requirements and transitions between finishes.
